So far so good I have not had a smoke and it is getting better. I have controlled my eating and think things will be alright. I still want to have one but the urge is not as great nor am I jonesing for one. The mornings are much better and even the drive to work but Dinner is still killing me since I always loved having a smoke after a good meal.
Going on day 6 without a smoke and it seems to be getting better. I don't feel the need or crave for the nicotine but miss the action of smoking more then anything. This will be my ninth time trying to quit smoking. I am a two to three pack a day smoker and the brand is Marlboro Mediums, I use to smoke reds but decided to slow down a bit and went to the mediums. 24 yeas of my life have been smoking and now I am trying to break to habit within weeks. Let’s not forget that I may put on weight and that is beginning to bother me. I don’t need more weight I need to stop smoking and try to keep the ponds off.
Today it has been three days since I have had a cigarette and I must say I may have to kill someone. 4 days ago I was on my day off and looked down and realized I had just smoked another pack. Then I realized that I had gone through three packs already and could have gone out for one more. That was it, I spend too much money on them, tired of waking up in the morning and grabbing a smoke before my feet hit the ground....Just tired of it all.
